How We Returned €52,300 to a Lyon Trader After SOGEXPERTFX Locked His Account

A Lyon trader funded a SOGEXPERTFX ‘expert advisor’ account by bank transfer. When the platform demanded a ‘release fee’ to let him withdraw, the SEPA paper trail became his best asset.

What happened

SOGEXPERTFX offered an automated forex-and-crypto ‘expert advisor’ with steady advertised returns. He funded by SEPA transfer, which the platform converted to USDT. The account showed profits until he tried to withdraw — then came a ‘release fee,’ framed each time as the final one.

How we recovered it

Because he funded by bank transfer, we had records tying his money to the platform’s payment processor. We traced the converted USDT to two exchanges, supported a fraud claim on the SEPA leg, and submitted freeze requests with the on-chain evidence.

“The bank trail they wanted me to ignore is exactly what saved me.” — client, Lyon, FR

The outcome

Between the processor claim and the exchange freezes, 94% of the €52,300 came back within a month. Bank-funded scams often recover well — fiat rails leave reversible records that pure-crypto scams do not.
